Wales High School isn't in Wales, it's in Kiveton and is one of the areas major comprehensive schools for 12-18 year olds (along with Aston and Dinnington comps). It was opened in 1970 and takes pupils from many of the local villages e.g. Harthill and Todwick as well as Kiveton and Wales. It's across the road from Kiveton Park Meadows Junior School.
Wales has its own 'pre comp' school (below) for children 5-11 years old and it's one of many such infants schools that feed pupils into the much bigger comprehensives such as Wales Comp when they reach 11.
