kiveton bridge railway station

The revamped railway station, photographed circa 2000. At one end of the line is the North Sea coast and Skegness, at the other is the City of Sheffield. The line was built around 1850 to move coal and people, and after its building the local Chesterfield canal fell into a slow decline. Below is a photo of the long gone Waleswood station, circa 1910.
