The old part of Anston. The pub is the Loyal Trooper, but another pub is visible at the end of the street, the Leeds Arms. This road was part of the A57 until the new A57 was built in the 1920s, so the pubs would have served the passing traffic.
This is the same street from the other side of the Leeds Arms.
