If you drive along the A57 you will see signs for the Tropical Butterfly House in North Anston. It is about 1/2 mile past the Cutler pub on the way to Woodseats. It has a hot humid tropical section that has the butterflies, a leaf cutter ant colony, reptiles, a cayman, piranhas(!) and assorted other fish and creepy crawlies. Outside there is a small farm and bird of prey sanctuary.

For 2009 they have added meercats to their collection.
