In July 2005 there was the almost annual steam rally in a field just outside Anston (it was missed in 2007 due to the floods). It's run by the Sheffield Steam and Vintage Club and started out steam engines only, but now includes vintage tractors, trucks, motorcycles, etc. An excellent weekend event with a fairground for the kids. There's also going to be one on June 24/25th 2006 (contact Mr Higginbottom on 0114 2390660 according to the Anston parish newsletter). Here are a few pictures I took:
