Whitwell Social Club, Butt Lane, Whitwell. Public meeting of residents who are against the plans for an Anaerobic Digestor in Whitwell.

Alkane do have a coal mine gas collector over the old Shireoaks mine shaft that generates electricity from methane from old mine workings. But this digester technology generates it from waste... I hope NIMBY's don't stop it, because we need to generate power from somewhere! And we now pay to import coal, gas and oil.

Biogas plant, is better than any chemical energy plant, this is green ideas converting energy out from manure, industrial and food waste and even landfill, a process where waste to energy is the result of the generated energy.
