I am in the process of trying to trace my Booker family tree.

My great great grandfather was George Booker (Judd) who married Mary. They had 5 sons and 1 daughter - Jack, Walter (Born in Worksop/Worsborugh in 1908 - d1980, George, Charles, Gerald (Jeb) and Mary. George's wife Mary died at an early age and he remarried. George fought in the First World War and was injured which resulted in a hole in his back!

Walter moved to London with Charles before the Second World War and then returned for 6 years to live in Haggs Hill, Stainforth, West Riding when war broke out to work in the mines - Stainforth Colliery and Hatfield Colliery. Gerald had a mining accident and later died at the early age of 32 in London. Walter and Charles moved to London after WW11 had finished and settled in and around the South East. The rest of the family stayed in Yorkshire. Jack Booker, I believe, lived in Upton in Yorkshire and had fourteen children! Apparently two of the brothers played for Castleford Football Club in the early twenties.

If you have any information that may be of help to me, please could you let me know. I am sorry its just bits and pieces and no dates but I have no birth certificate or dates at the moment.
