Hi

My name is Fletcher Standefer Crowe, and I'm writing a book
about the Sandford family of England (in America we spell the
name "Sandford" as "Standifer" and "Standefer.") I am a direct ancestor of the Sandfords who possessed Thorpe Salvain, and who built the church at Tickhill.

I'm considering coming to England this summer to study the family in this part of England and I thought you might be able to pass my message
on to someone in those areas who takes considerable interest in the
history of that area in the 14th and 15th centuries.

My branch of the family moved on to areas around Manchester (Audenshaw and Werneth Park), and then left for Barbados in 1629. I'm related to a John Sandiford to left Barbados in 1654 for Virginia.
